This Privacy Policy governs your interaction with the SocialFi Manifesto ("Manifesto") hosted at http://socialfirevolution.com. Our policy reflects the core principles of the SocialFi movement—decentralization, data sovereignty, and user empowerment—and stands in direct opposition to the exploitative data practices of Web2 platforms. By accessing or engaging with the Manifesto, you acknowledge and consent to the practices described in this policy.
At SocialFi Revolution, we reject surveillance capitalism and embrace Web3 values. This means:
- No Hidden Tracking: We do not monitor, profile, or analyze your behavior.
- No Data Exploitation: Your information will never be commodified.
- Transparency: This policy clearly outlines what little data we handle and why.
To uphold user privacy:
- No Tracking Technologies: We do not use cookies, pixels, fingerprinting, Google Analytics, or any behavioral tracking tools.
- No Data Monetization: We will never sell, trade, or license your information to third parties.
- No Mandatory Identification: Accessing the Manifesto requires no accounts, sign-ups, or personal data submission.
We collect minimal data only when you voluntarily engage:
Manifesto Downloads
- We may log anonymous, aggregated download counts (e.g., total downloads per month) for internal metrics.
- We do not record: IP addresses, timestamps, device information, or geographic locations.
Email Inquiries
- If you contact us at drsingh@sloan.mit.edu, we retain emails only for direct responses.
- Emails are automatically deleted after 30 days unless required for ongoing correspondence.
- We do not add your email to mailing lists or share it with third parties.
The Manifesto promotes decentralized technologies, but note:
- SocialFi Platforms: Interactions with blockchain networks (e.g., tokenized assets, DAOs, or decentralized apps) are governed by their respective privacy policies, not this document.
- Public Ledgers: On-chain actions (e.g., signing the Manifesto or token transactions) are immutable and transparent by design. We cannot alter or delete blockchain data.
Aligned with the Manifesto’s Declaration of Rights, you have:
- Right to Anonymity: Read, share, or endorse the Manifesto without providing identifiable information.
- Right to Erasure: Request deletion of emailed inquiries by contacting drsingh@sloan.mit.edu. We will comply within 14 business days.
- Right to Data Portability: Export any public content you contribute to decentralized platforms (e.g., signed pledges on blockchain).
We may update this policy to reflect technological or legal changes. Updates will be:
- Announced via our official social media (@SocialFiRevolution).
- Archived on decentralized storage (IPFS/Arweave) for transparency.
- Dated clearly at the top of this document.
